I spent the first 15 years of my career building products and leading teams at places like Microsoft, Google, Bose, and in professional sports. Like most product leaders, my job used to revolve around strategy docs, roadmaps, and coordinating across engineering and design. When modern AI tools arrived, I realized that managing AI from a slide deck wasn't going to cut it.
Leaning on my background in computer science and AI from Georgia Tech, I changed how I work from the ground up. I moved my daily workflow into the terminal and IDE, started writing code and building custom agents again, and helped lead that same cultural and technical shift across my organization at Microsoft. Along the way, we built an internal AI workbench with over 80 custom skills and agents, coached non-engineers to ship working code, and flipped a massive legacy web portal into an everywhere product powered by one of Microsoft's most widely used MCP servers.
Today, through Beachtree Tech, I help ambitious individuals, executives, product and engineering teams, and growing companies make that same jump. About Me.
I have spent 15+ years building 0-to-1 products and leading teams across AI, cloud platforms, connected hardware, and enterprise software at Microsoft, Google, Bose, and AMB Sports + Entertainment. Right now, I am a Principal Group Product Management Lead at Microsoft in Atlanta. I lead 0-to-1 New Ventures and pre-commercialization for our engineering operations portfolio, working with enterprise customers to pilot our internal AI capabilities externally. Before this role, I led Product for Microsoft's core Incident Management (IcM) and Supportability platforms, where we used Model Context Protocol (MCP) UI, actions, and tools to bring incident response directly into the tools 50,000+ employees use every day. I also served as our AI Acceleration Area Lead, where I built our internal AI Workbench and coached our product organization to rank #2 company-wide in sustained AI usage, outperforming multiple software engineering teams. Before returning to Microsoft, I was Senior Director of Product Management at Bose, where I built the software product management organization from scratch and helped launch the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones, Ultra Open Earbuds, and Ultra Soundbar. Prior to Bose, I led Google Cloud GTM Launch Readiness, built an internal automation platform called ATLAS, and drove commercialization for Google's Area 120 incubator. Earlier in my career, I led Emerging Technology Product Management for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium (shipping stadium IoT, predictive energy models, LiDAR spatial analytics, and AI security screening) and spent five years at Microsoft in Seattle launching Azure Time Series Insights, Azure Sphere, and Windows Ink. I hold a Master's in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) and an MBA from Georgia Tech, where I also guest lecture on product management, plus a dual BA in Economics and Risk Management from Georgia State University. I live in Atlanta with my wife, our three kids, and our golden retriever, Charlie.
